Canon L&D proudly presents the first IT Expert Session - IT Network technologies
On April 18th we will start our virtual IT Expert Session series for specialists in Professional Services and Service&Support. The first live session is dedicated to IT Network Technologies.
We invite PS/S&S specialists in all parts of Canon EMEA with a high level of IT knowledge to join the IT Expert sessions. Please forward this invite to anyone in your organisation who might benefit from this. Connection details to the virtual session will follow soon.
In this first session 2 specialists from our internal IT department will present how they manage the Canon EMEA network now and in the future. They will cover topics like
- DNS (type of records, Internal and external DNS)
- Internet gateway/proxy
- Firewalls (inbound and outbound)
- SDWAN or MPLS (direct connect to cloud)
- Security requirements --> zero trust network (Perimeterization for example, a laptop and printer are not talking with each other)
- Network diagnostic tools (like Wireshark, Netflow)
We will allow plenty of time for Q&A in the session but do not hesitate to provide us with any questions in advance of the session.
